Mike Henson A really nice progressive rock/jazz fusion record. I listed to this instrumental offering frequently and keep hoping for a follow-up album to no avail. If you miss jazz fusion from the 1970s, I suggest you give this modern take on the genre a thoughtful listen.

Nicky Byloo I loved this album from the first spin. It just gets better from there. It is great to see a band push things musically without feeling the need for a vocalist. So glad it's just instrumental not being ruined by vocals, pure music. Very accessible in a good way and it touches different musical approaches and is so inviting, with its driving grooves and timing - amazing sounding album. One of my favourites for 2016 so far even though it's a 2015 release. Favorite track: The Descent.

marco Well written progressions pay off with heavy, other-worldy grooves. Djazzling :) Also, I think their tone has the perfect amount of bark, if you know what I mean. Favorite track: Alien Sun Pt. I.
Deidre House

Deidre House Hard and heavy instrumental prog fusion from Belgium. The guitar tone on the heavier sections is borrowed from djent but I think the majority of this is at least as close to prog rock and jazz fusion as it is to metal. Chock full of heavy grooves. Worth every cent. Favorite track: Syntax.

With drummer Tom Vansteenkiste and Tom Everaert they play a unique brand of instrumental progressive metal that incorporates odd time signatures and a wide range of influences including jazz and fusion. ... more
